Summary
As a professional with a Doctorate in Educational Technology from the esteemed Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, my career has been defined by a passion for innovative pedagogy and curriculum development. With a focus on active learning-based solutions, I have contributed to educational initiatives within and beyond traditional classroom settings.
In my most recent assignment as a visiting assistant professor at Plaksha University India, I worked on redesigning a sustainability development studio course for engineering students. My work extends beyond the university walls, as I have played a pivotal role in shaping AI modules for ATAL tinker labs, impacting over 10,000 schools across India. In collaboration with organizations like Next Education Pvt Ltd, I redesigned curriculum activities, particularly computer education, to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I led efforts to transition engineering education to online platforms, ensuring continuity and accessibility for students. My dedication to advancing education is further evidenced by my involvement in teacher training workshops, where I share insights on active learning pedagogies tailored to the needs of engineering educators in academia and industry.
Driven by a research background in learning environment design and emerging technologies, I am committed to fostering inclusive practices and continuous improvement in student learning outcomes. From making and tinkering-based environments to inclusive education for individuals with visual impairments, my diverse experiences underscore my unwavering commitment to shaping the future of education through innovation and inclusivity.
