The Wales Coast Path

The path is signposted along the whole of the Welsh coast - and much of it is walkable by rail.  There are 52 railway stations around the Welsh coast, as shown on the map on the right.  Many of the gaps are short enough to walk within a morning or a day.

The spreadsheet below gives some more information with links to downloadable gpx files.  Note that the distances between stations are approximate - they have been estimated using a mapping app.

Transport for Wales have done a lot of work on encouraging walking by rail.  Check out the information on their website here.
