Effective date: 2026-09-24 App: Railvia (com.semygames.railvia) Developer: SEMY Contact: cartafore@gmail.com
Railvia is an endless arcade game: you swipe to steer a train and deliver wagons to matching stations.
You can play as a guest — Railvia then silently creates an anonymous player ID and your progress stays on your device. You can also create an account with your email address so your progress is saved online and can be restored on another device. Either way you choose a nickname that is shown on the global leaderboard with your best score; we ask you not to use your real name. We also collect gameplay statistics and crash reports to improve the game, and show optional rewarded ads.
We do not sell personal data. Railvia is not directed to children under 13; its content is suitable for all ages, but the intended audience is 13+.
Your progress (coins, purchased maps and locomotives, slowdowns, achievements, statistics, best score), settings (sound, music, vibration), selections, daily missions, daily wheel spins, and whether you finished the tutorial — saved using standard Android app storage. Uninstalling the app removes this.
Guest: a random anonymous player ID created by Firebase Authentication on first launch. It is not linked to your name, email, phone number, or Google account.
Email account (optional): if you create an account, your email address is stored by Firebase Authentication and linked to your player ID. Your password is handled only by Firebase Authentication; we never see or store it. Your email is used only to sign you in and to send a password reset email when you ask for one — never for marketing.
Leaderboard entry — stored under your player ID: your nickname, your best score, and the time it was last updated. The nickname and score are visible to other players.
Cloud save (only with an account) — your nickname and game progress (coins, purchases, slowdowns, achievements, statistics, best score, selected map and locomotive, tutorial status), so it can be restored when you sign in. Only you can read it.
Events when a game starts and ends, including that game's score, number of deliveries, and number of stations passed.
Information Firebase collects automatically: an app instance identifier, device model, operating system and app version, language, approximate country/region (inferred from IP address), and usage data such as sessions and first open. Google Analytics may also read your device's advertising identifier.
When the app crashes or logs an error: the error message and stack trace, device model, operating system and app version, and a Crashlytics installation identifier.
An advertising identifier and basic device/technical information (device model, OS version, approximate region inferred from IP, language), used by Google AdMob to select, serve, and measure the optional rewarded ads (continue after a game over, or slow the train down).
In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, a consent screen (Google's User Messaging Platform) appears before ads are personalized. If consent isn't given, or isn't required in your region, non‑personalized ads are shown instead.
Railvia never collects your real name, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise location. Your email address is collected only if you choose to create an account.
Account and cloud save: to sign you in and keep your progress safe across devices.
Leaderboard: to show your nickname, best score and rank among other players.
Gameplay statistics: to understand how the game is played (for example, where players tend to lose) and to balance difficulty.
Crash reports: to find and fix bugs.
Advertising: to show optional rewarded ads.
Railvia uses the following Google services, which process data on our behalf. Their handling of data is described in Google's privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and Firebase's privacy information (https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy):
Firebase Authentication — creates the player ID and handles email sign-in.
Cloud Firestore — stores leaderboard entries and cloud saves.
Google Analytics for Firebase — gameplay statistics.
Firebase Crashlytics — crash reports.
Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) — rewarded ads.
Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) — the EEA/UK/Switzerland consent screen.
Data processed by these services may be stored on Google servers outside your country.
You can reset or opt out of ad personalization from your device settings: Settings → Google → Ads (wording varies by Android version).
In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, the consent form reappears automatically when Google's consent tools determine it's required again (for example, if your consent status expires). Railvia doesn't currently have an in-game screen to reopen it manually.
On-device data stays until you uninstall Railvia or clear its storage.
Accounts, cloud saves and leaderboard entries are kept until you delete your account in the game or ask us to delete them (see Section 8). Uninstalling the app does not remove them. Signing out keeps your account so you can sign in again.
Gameplay statistics and crash reports are kept for the retention periods set by Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics, after which they are deleted automatically.
Advertising data is retained under Google's own policies, linked above.
Railvia is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us at the address below and we will delete it.
Delete your account in the game: Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently deletes your account (email and player ID), your cloud save and your leaderboard entry.
Delete by email: write to cartafore@gmail.com from your account's email address (or, for a guest, include the nickname and best score shown for you in the leaderboard) and ask us to delete your data. We delete it within 30 days.
Change your nickname at any time: Settings → Account → Change nickname.
Uninstalling the app deletes everything stored on your device. For advertising data, use the device controls in Section 5 or contact Google directly.
Data sent to Firebase and AdMob is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Storage rules only allow each player to write their own leaderboard entry and to read or write their own cloud save; leaderboard entries can be read by all players, since the leaderboard is public.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date at the top of this page.
