Railside Rumble

Railside Rumble is Railside Robotics’ annual combat robotics competition, bringing builders and bots from across the region together for a day of sparks, strategy, and destruction. Featuring antweight (1lb) and beetleweight (3lb) classes, this open competition is designed for both seasoned competitors and newcomers looking to test their creations in the arena. With high-energy matches, creative designs, and plenty of metal-on-metal action, Railside Rumble is a must-see event for combat robotics—whether you’re battling in the cage or watching the sparks fly. 

We hosted the first annual event on April 19th, 2025. This was not only our first public event, but Indiana's first public combat robotics event. It was a huge success!
