RailShift ("the Game") is developed and published by Faruk Böyük ("Developer", "we", "us", or "our").
This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected when you use RailShift, why it is collected, how it may be shared, how long it may be retained, and the choices available to you.
For privacy questions or requests, you may contact:

RailShift stores game progress, lives and regeneration timing, advertising counters, settings, and privacy choices in app-specific storage on your device. RailShift is configured to exclude this app data from standard Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer. RailShift does not support restoring this data through those services after reinstalling the Game or moving to another device. Clearing the Game's app data or uninstalling the Game can permanently remove your local progress and preferences.
RailShift uses Google Firebase Analytics to help us understand how the Game is used and improve gameplay.
Analytics collection is disabled by default. It is enabled only if the user chooses to enable the game's analytics option.
When enabled, RailShift may record gameplay events such as:
Starting a level
Completing or failing a level
Using a hint
Completing a rewarded advertisement
Displaying an interstitial advertisement
Related gameplay information such as level or lives
App, device, installation, and technical information automatically processed by Firebase Analytics
We use this information to understand gameplay behavior, identify areas where players encounter difficulties, evaluate game features, and improve RailShift.
RailShift does not intentionally send a player's name, email address, phone number, or a custom user ID to Firebase Analytics.
Users may disable analytics later through RailShift's privacy settings. When analytics is disabled, RailShift stops sending new custom gameplay analytics events and resets locally stored Analytics data associated with the app instance. Disabling analytics does not necessarily delete information that was previously transmitted to Google.
RailShift uses Google Firebase Crashlytics to identify crashes and technical problems.
Crash reporting is disabled by default. It is enabled only if the user chooses to enable the crash-reporting option.
When enabled, Crashlytics may process information such as:
Crash reports and stack traces
App version
Operating system and device information
Installation identifiers
Technical diagnostic information
Game context useful for diagnosing a crash, such as the current level or lives
This information is used to diagnose crashes, improve stability, and fix technical problems.
RailShift does not intentionally attach a player's name, email address, phone number, or a custom user ID to Crashlytics reports.
Users may disable crash reporting through RailShift's privacy settings. Pending unsent crash reports are requested to be deleted when crash reporting is disabled. Because of Firebase Crashlytics SDK behavior, complete disabling of crash reporting may take effect after the Game is restarted, and data already transmitted to Google cannot be recalled merely by changing the in-game setting.
RailShift uses Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK to provide advertisements, including rewarded advertisements and interstitial advertisements.
Depending on the user's region, privacy choices, device configuration, and Google's advertising systems, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may process information including:
IP address, which may be used to estimate general location
App and advertisement interactions
Diagnostic and performance information
Device and app identifiers
Advertising identifiers where available and permitted
This information may be used by Google for purposes including advertising, ad measurement, analytics, fraud prevention, security, and providing advertising services.
RailShift does not use banner advertisements.
Rewarded advertisements are optional gameplay features. For example, a player may choose to watch a rewarded advertisement for an in-game benefit such as an additional attempt or a hint.
RailShift uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) for applicable advertising privacy choices.
Where required or available, users may be shown Google's privacy or consent interface regarding advertising. Advertising availability and personalization may depend on the user's choices, region, applicable law, device settings, and Google's advertising systems.
Advertising privacy choices are separate from RailShift's Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics choices. Agreeing to advertising-related processing does not automatically enable Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics.
Where available, advertising privacy choices can be reviewed again through the Game's Privacy Options interface.
RailShift uses services provided by Google LLC, including:
Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK
Google User Messaging Platform
Google Firebase Analytics
Google Firebase Crashlytics
These services may process information on Google's systems according to their applicable terms, privacy policies, product configurations, and the choices made by the user.
Firebase states that covered Firebase SDK data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. Google Mobile Ads states that data collected by its SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS.
RailShift does not operate its own online account system or player-profile server.
Information described in this Privacy Policy may be transmitted to or processed by Google when the relevant Google services are used. Google and its service providers or subprocessors may process such information to provide the applicable advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, security, measurement, and fraud-prevention services.
Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law, legal process, or a valid governmental request.
Local RailShift data is retained in app-specific storage until you clear the Game's app data, uninstall the Game, or the operating system removes it. RailShift does not provide cloud backup or device-to-device restoration of this data through standard Android backup services. These backup restrictions do not delete data previously sent to Google through optional Analytics, optional Crashlytics, or advertising services; the collection choices and retention information described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy continue to apply.
Users can stop future optional Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics collection through the Game's privacy settings.
Firebase Crashlytics currently states that crash stack traces and associated identifiers are generally retained for 90 days before the removal process begins.
Google Analytics retention depends on the Analytics property's configured retention settings. Google Analytics provides configurable retention periods for user-level and event-level data. Changing RailShift's in-game analytics preference stops future collection as described above but does not automatically erase all information previously transmitted to Google.
Users may contact the Developer at farukboyuk616@gmail.com with privacy or deletion questions. Because RailShift does not require an account and does not intentionally assign a custom identity to Analytics or Crashlytics data, it may not always be technically possible for the Developer to identify a particular person within previously collected pseudonymous or aggregated data.
RailShift is designed to limit data collection to the services described in this Privacy Policy.
Local privacy preferences are stored in application-specific storage. Data transmitted by the Google services used by RailShift is protected in transit using the security mechanisms provided by those services.
No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but reasonable measures are used to reduce unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
Users can play RailShift without enabling optional Firebase Analytics or optional Firebase Crashlytics.
Users may:
Enable or disable optional gameplay analytics
Enable or disable optional crash reporting
Review applicable advertising privacy options
Clear local application data using device controls
Uninstall the Game to remove locally stored RailShift data
Disabling an optional feature does not prevent normal gameplay.
This Privacy Policy may be updated when RailShift's features, SDKs, data practices, or legal requirements change.
When the policy is updated, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be changed. Material changes will be reflected in the policy and, where required, additional notice or consent will be provided.
