Raiders have 2 Cheer Packages: Sideline and All In
Registration Cost for Each Program:
All-In Cheerleader
Early Bird (December - May 31st): $200. This includes $150 for registration + $50 for equipment rental (per family).
After May 31st: $250. This includes $200 for registration + $50 for equipment rental (per family).
Sideline Only Cheerleader
Early Bird (December - May 31st): $150. This includes $100 for registration + $50 for equipment rental (per family).
After May 31st: $200. This includes $200 for registration + $50 for equipment rental (per family)
Practices are Tuesday and Thursday from 6-8
Location: 198 Complex Drive Collinsville Illinois. We do not practice on the football field; we practice by the baseball fields.
Practices can be watched from the cars/parking lot. We want the cheerleaders to depend on their coaches, not their parents, during this time. We will have sneak-peek nights where you can watch up-close, similar to what you see at the free camps.
Outside of Tues/Thurs regular practices, we have 1-2 specialty practices a month.
Depending on the weather, sometimes we practice at the VFW or other local facilities. We will communicate those changes with you. These practices are drop off and pick up only.
NO FAKE OR LONG NAILS.
Games
Usually starts around Labor day weekend.
Times vary.
We cheer at home and away games.
The cheerleader’s game schedule is entirely based on the availability of our coaches. This means parents and cheerleaders do not get to choose which football games or teams their child will cheer for. We cannot guarantee that any specific cheer team will be paired with a specific football team throughout the season. Three cheer teams cover over 6 football teams.
Siblings do not always cheer for each other or cheer together!!
CHS Cheer Event - Everyone
If CHS can make time for us, we try to do a private event with them.
Parades - Everyone
We perform in the Italian Fest parade and a Christmas parade. Depending on the season and dates, sometimes we cheer at a third parade. Parents will RSVP to parades by signing up, and then be added to a separate group where the coach in charge can communicate with everyone who plans on attending.
Midwest Showoff Performance - All In Only
This takes place at the Belleville Devils field. Many cheer teams come together to put on a great show!
Spirit Fest Competition - All In Only
This event is the most similar to a real school competition the cheerleaders will get to experience before they go to middle school or high school cheer.
The week prior to Spirit Fest, we have mandatory practices the entire week. Your cheerleader must attend every practice. Any absence could affect their role in the routine.
We will practice anywhere and everywhere every night of Spirit Fest until 8:15pm-8:30pm, if needed.
Banquet - Everyone
The banquet concludes the season for Sparklers, Dynamite, and Explosion. There will be two events. The date and times will be announced later. The event includes speeches, awards, and trophies. Bring activities for your children. If you can't attend, coordinate with your head coach to receive any awards or gifts. Attire ranges from Sunday best to casual. Food is catered, and costs have previously been $10 for coaches, about $25 for ages 12+, $10 for ages 5-11, and free for 4 and under. Ticket prices may change and are sold in advance or at the door. Felty Photography may be available for picture pick-up at specific times. Equipment fee checks are only available on this day unless you email cvilleraiders@yahoo.com. Uniforms must be returned and accounts settled. At the banquet, athletes are given an award followed by those who qualify for their 5 year jersey, 7 year patch, or lifetime award (9 years as a Raider).
End of the Season Party - Everyone
We go to Power Haus in Columbia for a night of tumble tracks and spring floors!
