When this is checked (switched on), the Calculator won't consider the subjects which are under arrears. And you'll get the CGPAs and Percentages accordingly.
Note: Force calculated GPAs or Virtual GPAs are not real GPAs. They simply represent the minimum GPAs that will be secured after clearing all arrears. To indicate that a GPA is a virtual GPA, a plus sign is placed next to it, like this '8.88+'.
When this is not checked (switched off), the GPA Calculator won't calculate CGPAs and Percentages in all semesters after a semester with arrear(s). That is, once an arrear is noticed in a semester i, it'll stop calculating CGPA and Percentage in further i + (1, 2, 3, ...) semesters.
All these values secured till the end of each semester (1 to 8) will be shown separately.
Lateral entry students can calculate their GPA and other results by switching on this option in the settings. Lateral Entry students need not fill first and second semester grades.
The checkboxes that read "Won't get detained" will automatically be checked if it is sure that the candidate will not be detained. And that which reads "Will get PC" gets checked when it's sure that you'll get a Provisional Certificate.
Note: In the newer versions of GPA calculator, the terminology may change. But it'll be similar to this and will be accessible and reliable.
This field will show you whether the candidate will get "First class with distinction", "First class", "Second class", "Pass class" or "Not eligible".
Go to Examinations website to check your results.
Open GPA Calculator 5.0 or the latest GPA Assistant 5.1 on a computer.
For predicting Class, download Class Predictor.
Fill all the cells next to the subject names with the "letter grades" you've actually secured till date.
You can estimate the GPA of any future semester by filling the grades with some assumed values.
After filling all the cells, it'll take no time to calculate all the results.
