I was born and raised in Alipurduar, a small town in West Bengal, where I completed my schooling and went on to earn a B.Sc. from ABN Seal College in Coochbehar. I later pursued an M.Sc. at IIT Guwahati. During my undergraduate studies, I developed a strong interest in research and science, which evolved into a deep passion throughout my M.Sc. program. This drive led me to pursue a Ph.D. in Physics, focusing on material science—an area with direct applications to daily life. Currently, I am working on developing various materials for advanced energy storage systems, including electrochromic batteries, zinc-ion batteries, and photo batteries.
