Thank you for visiting! I am Zahidur Rahman, a young geneticist and plant breeder from Bangladesh. I hold a Master's degree in Genetics and Plant Breeding and currently working as an Assistant Plant Breeder in the Research and Development division of Lal Teer Seed Limited, a leading commercial seed company in my country. Previously, I worked as a Graduate Research Assistant in a plant biology lab until 2024, where I gained hands-on expertise in molecular techniques and advanced crop breeding methodologies. With a strong foundation in plant science and research, I am now preparing myself for my next endeavor.

As a biologist my current goal is to understand the deeper inside of plant cellular mechanism as well as organism-environment interaction, and explore different biotechnological approach and exploit their potential to enhance human health, food security and environmental sustainability.
