I am an economist with broad interests in topics related to the environment and development. As of September 2023 I serve as a Visting Scholar at Harvard University.

I have lived in Kyrgyzstan, Norway, Turkey, Great Britain and the United States. I have worked with national governments and international organizations such as the World Bank, IFC, UN, IPBES, GIZ, and many others.
