Clearing the cache will not delete passwords or bookmarks if you only select Cached images and files.
Please close and reopen the browser after clearing the cache.
(Windows PC, Mac, Android, iPhone/iPad)
Open Chrome
Tap or click the three dots (⋮) in the top-right (mobile: top or bottom)
Choose Settings
Go to Privacy and security
Select Clear browsing data
At the top, set Time range to Last 4 weeks
Tick only ✅ Cached images and files
Tap or click Clear data
If the problem continues:
Repeat the steps above, but change Time range to All time, then clear again.
Open the Settings app (not Safari)
Scroll down and tap Safari
Tap Clear History and Website Data
Confirm by tapping Clear
If the problem continues:
Do the same steps again
Then restart your device
(Safari does not let you choose “last 4 weeks” only — this is normal.)
Open Safari
Click Safari (top menu) → Settings
Go to the Privacy tab
Click Manage Website Data…
Click Remove All → Remove Now
If the problem continues:
Quit Safari completely
Reopen Safari and try again
Open Edge
Click the three dots (⋮) top-right
Click Settings
Choose Privacy, search, and services
Under Clear browsing data, click Choose what to clear
Set Time range to Last 4 weeks
Tick only ✅ Cached images and files
Click Clear now
If the problem continues:
Repeat with Time range = All time.
Open Firefox
Click the three lines (☰) top-right
Choose Settings
Go to Privacy & Security
Under Cookies and Site Data, click Clear Data…
Tick only ✅ Cached Web Content
Click Clear
If the problem continues:
Repeat after changing the time range (if shown) to Everything / All time.
Open Chrome
Tap the three dots (⋮)
Tap Settings
Tap Privacy and security
Tap Clear browsing data
Set Time range to Last 4 weeks
Tick only ✅ Cached images and files
Tap Clear data
If the problem continues:
Repeat using All time.
After clearing the cache:
Close the browser completely
Open it again
Then return to the app and try again
