The objective of Powerplay is to score points using cones on the playing field. The playing field has junctions of various heights and sizes that you must place cones on in order to score points. In addition to scoring cones, you can also park in certain areas to score points. The first 30 seconds of a match is known as an autonomous period, where the robot is operated purely on prewritten code. After the autonomous period is the 2 minute driver controlled period, where two drivers for each team are allowed to move their robot with controllers.
