I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economic Sciences, at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur.

My interest lies in understanding and analyzing both theoretically and empirically the nuances of individual decision-making, including interactive decision-making in social settings. My primary research fields are behavioral choice theory, decision theory, and behavioral and experimental economics. At a more applied level, my research delves into the possibility that behavioral biases may play a key role in sustaining regressive social phenomena like polarization and segregation, patriarchy, and the like, and my research attempts to engage with these issues.
