I am a Ramanujan Fellow at IISER Kolkata. My research is related to Astrophysics and Cosmology while the main focus is to understand the physical states of our Universe during the first billion years.

New paper accepted (MNRAS): 'First upper limits on the 21-cm signal power spectrum of neutral hydrogen at z=9.16 from the LOFAR 3C196 field'.
New paper accepted (APj): 'Asking Fast Radio Bursts (FRBs) for More than Reionization History'. Abinash Kumar Shaw led the study.
New paper accepted (MNRAS): 'Effects of Large Optical Depth on CD HI 21-cm Non-Gaussian Signal'. Iffat Nasreen, Jadavpur University, led this study.
New paper submitted (JCAP): "Enhancing the detectability of ionized Regions during the Epoch of Reionization". The study was led by my student Rutvik Ashish Mahajan.
New paper accepted. "Improved upper limits on the 21-cm signal power spectrum at z = 17.0 and z = 20.3 from an optimal field observed with NenuFAR". The study was led by S. Munshi.
Attended 'Cosmic Connections : Bridging the Early and Late Universe ' conference at IMSC, Chennai from July 28 - August 1, 2025 and gave an invited talk on 'Constraints on the Epoch of Reionization from Cosmic 21-cm Signal Observations'.
Attended 'IFPU Focus Week on Mining the Rainbow: Cosmology in Multicolour via Line Intensity Mapping Surveys' conference, IFPU, SISSA, ICTP from 30th June to 4th July 2025 and gave a talk on 'Constraining the properties of ionized bubbles during Cosmic Reionization'.
Attended 'A New Era in Astrophysics: preparing for early science with the SKAO' conference (16-20th June) and gave a plenary talk on 'Constraining the state of the IGM during Epoch of Reionization using redshifted 21-cm signal observations'.
New paper accepted: 'Extracting the Epoch of Reionization Signal with 3D U-Net Neural Networks using Data-Driven Systematic Effect Model', The study was led by Liyang (Groningen University).
Participated in the IISER-K Summer Internship Program 2025 with 14 students.
Paper accepted: 'Constraints on the state of the IGM at z ∼ 8 − 10 using redshifted 21-cm observations with LOFAR' in A&A (Ghara+2025).
