Daily Quran ("we," "our," or "us") provides a simple application that allows users to read and listen to the Islamic book, the Quran. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.
While we strive to minimize data collection, certain features of the app require specific permissions and data to function properly:
Location Data (Precise and Approximate): If you grant the necessary permissions, we collect your device's location to calculate accurate, local Prayer Times and determine the correct Qibla direction. This data is processed ephemerally on your device and sent securely to a third-party API (Aladhan) solely for calculating these times. We do not permanently store your GPS coordinates or track your movements.
User Feedback Data: If you choose to submit feedback through the app, we collect the content of your message. To prevent spam and enforce daily submission limits, we may associate this feedback with an anonymous, non-personally identifiable device token.
Note: We do not require account creation, and we do not track your general app activity.
App Functionality: Your location data is used exclusively to provide core app features (Prayer Times and Qibla Compass).
App Improvement: User feedback is used strictly to fix bugs, address feature requests, and improve the overall user experience.
Data Protection: We do not sell, rent, or share your personal or location information with marketing agencies or data brokers.

Aladhan API: Used to calculate Prayer Times based on your coordinates.
Firebase (Google Cloud) Privacy Policy: Used as a secure database to store user-submitted feedback.
We take reasonable precautions to protect any data handled by our app and third-party services. Feedback data is transmitted over secure, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored in secured cloud databases (Firebase). Because location data is processed ephemerally, the risk of unauthorized access to your location history is minimized.
Our app is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the app or on our official page.
