Community Awareness & Prevention Education (CAPE)
to help combat human trafficking/modern slavery
Whether you are new to the issue, or deeply immersed, you will find tools and techniques to help you combat human trafficking locally and globally. Many Rotarians and Rotary Clubs start with a local Community Awareness project, gathering community stakeholders to assess the needs in their community and from there determine how to best proceed. The Rotary club may then move to a Prevention Education project in local schools and community groups.
On this web site you will find tools to help you identify key stakeholders, and how to facilitate stakeholder meetings to get you started. Additionally, you will find prevention education curriculum criteria and a list of providers if your club would rather not start from scratch.
