About Me 

 My name is Raffy Polanco, and I am a former team member of the Dominican Repiblic National Team.  In 2018, I was recruited to play volleyball at Grand View University in Des Moines, IA. While at Grand View, I played as a right side and all-around six-rotation player, and I also served as a team captain.

During my time there, I made NAIA history by becoming the first person ever to win back-to-back National Championships—first as a player in 2021 during an undefeated 26–0 season, and then as a coach in 2022.

After earning my degree in International Business, I became one of the Assistant Coaches for the  women’s volleyball teams at Simpson College in Indianola, IA. My passion for coaching has grown ever since I first started playing, and now, as a college coach, my commitment to growing the game is stronger than ever.
