Rafael Hernández-Pachón

Welcome to my website!

I'm a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Zurich. My supervisors are Ulf Zölitz and David Yanagizawa-Drott.  In the spring of 2025, I visited the Yale Department of Economics, hosted by Professor Christopher Neilson.

I work at the intersection of development and labor economics, with a focus on the economics of education and child development. My research combines administrative data and experiments to study topics such as transportation to school, teacher quality, and social learning.

I am on the 2025/26 job market.
