4. Begin troubleshooting when issue has been detected
a. Link down
i. both CO and branch
ii. on branch only

i. with MAC on both sites
ii. with MAC on one site only
iii. w/o MAC on both sites
iv. w/o MAC on one site only
c. Duplex mismatch
i. half-duplex on both sites
ii. half-duplex on one site only
iii. auto-negotiation on both sites
iv. auto-negotiation on one site only
d. Conflicting configuration
i. BW settings (input/output)
ii. storm control
