Content Specifications
Breakdown of the material on the Registry exam by categories:
- Safety (49 questions)
- Patient Care (47 questions)
- Procedures (104 questions)
Patient care questions make up approximately 1/4 of the registry. These are questions that have to do with ethical and legal issues, communicating with patients and other forms of patient interactions, assisting patients such as with transfers, and medical emergencies. Included in this section are infection control practices, modes of transmission and charting functions and documentation.
