  • Today I have a new auv3 plugin in an open beta testing. The plugin will visualize all realtime bitcoin's transactions and play sound according to the size of that transactions. Bigger transaction will result in a deeper sound.

  • There are already 3 set of sounds in the plugin, but you can use your own sound set with Custom Instrument(The last option in instrument menu). Please navigate to your folder that contains audio files, then tap 'Open Button' on the top-right corner of the window to use that folder.

Nov-27-2022 => Version 1.0.3

  • I added 30k stations this version which raised our station list to 41k (previous version contains like ... 20k duplicated url, :( I'm so sorry about that)

  • With newly added stations, I inserted the #country hashtag to its name. So you can do the country search now.

  • Change how random station work.


Nov-21-2022 => The duplicated

I've got a bug report from enkaytee in audiobus forum say there are many preset pointing to "http://streaming.radionomy.com/JamendoLounge". I checked my code and, the code didn't do the duplicate filter :(


Nov-16-2022 => Version 1.0.2

  • A quick fix to the hashtag system, now I use lower case letter for tag. But don't worry, the search is still case insensitive

  • When you "favorite" a station, It will automatic receive #favorite hashtag.

  • After this update, I'm afraid that I have to switch to add new feature to Tube Audio Unit. I wont be here for a while. I will be back soon to add more feature to Smart Browser. I already have an idea, still need sometime to implement it.

Nov-14-2022 => Version 1.0.1

  • New hashtag system: Each station has default hashtag with name of its group and genre. For example a station in genre KPOP will has default hashtag: #pop, #kpop

  • You can now do the station search by input the name or hashtag

  • I add 3 tabs (All/User-defined/Favorite) so you can quickly filter stations that you modified, added and favorited.


Nov-09-2022 => Version 1.0

  • Now the number of stations has increased to 37,000+. I have redesigned the UI a bit so we can have larger space for the station's list.

  • The random functions have been added. Now you can randomly select stations by group, genre. I also exposed 3 AUv3's parameters to trigger them.

  • For the state of the player, I exposed 4 parameters(play/pause/rewind and stop) The stop parameter will cancel all connecting urls.

  • Added station's info so that you can change the station's name, url, genre and server's location.

  • I am still collecting more urls and will add them in the next version.


Oct-19-2022 => Testflight:

  • The plugin itself contains a large number of internet radio stations's url (5200+). They are divided into groups (blues, classical, country, electronic ...), each group has many genres: (acoustic blues, country blues, delta blues ...). I want the plugin has feature that allows users to be able to share their internet radio link to the community so that we will have very big database for use. For this, I decided to make Radio Audio Unit.


  • I have to say that I am the only one developing this plugin, having to take care of a lot of stages from research, making graphics, testing, coding. That's why I divided the development into 2 phases called A and B. Phase A is to develop the main modules so that users can use the plugin at simple level. Phase B will focus on sharing stations and improving functions. I've completed phase A and I am starting phase B, so I'd like to invite everyone to the open beta so you can experiment and give opinions.


  • There are 3 components that I'm hoping to get feedback on:

  1. The audio player: If it cannot play your link, please send me that link through report button(This report use the Mail app on your device for sending, so please make sure you have a least one email account installed)

  2. The stations database: I have developed a web crawler that helps me get many station's link to the database automatically, so if you know any sites that contains many stations links, please email me these sites so I can have my web crawler to works on them.

  3. The browser: To add new station, you need to input station's name and its streaming url. I have developed a smart browser that traps media links while you are browsing. If it get a media link, it will send that link directly to the player. You can add new station by simple tap on the download symbol button near the back/forward button of the browser. You only need to input station's name because the browser take care of the link for you
