I believe that the most beautiful lines are the ones you cannot fully control.
About
My name is Rada, and I am a watercolor artist based in Munich, Germany. I have been working with watercolor for over ten years, drawn to the medium for its honesty and unpredictability. With a background in engineering, I spent years surrounded by structure, precision, and clear rules. Watercolor offered me something entirely different. You can guide it, but you can never fully control it, and that balance between intention and freedom continues to inspire my work.
I focus on painting everyday life moments, landscapes, nature, and kitchen-inspired art. These themes reflect the beauty I find in simple rituals, quiet observations, and the spaces where creativity and daily life meet. For me, cooking is also an art form, and my kitchen paintings are created to bring warmth and character into the heart of a home.
Outside of painting, I love growing vegetables in small spaces and exploring urban farming. This connection to nature, even within the city, deeply influences how I see color, texture, and composition.
All of my artworks are created using high-quality watercolor paints and professional-grade paper, chosen to ensure longevity and preserve the delicate layers of the medium. Over the years, my paintings have found homes across Europe and in several states in the United States, which I am truly grateful for.
Through my work, I aim to create art that feels calm, thoughtful, and alive, pieces that invite you to pause and find beauty in everyday moments.
Art Categories & Materials
My watercolor work is inspired by everyday life moments, landscapes, nature, and kitchen-inspired art. Each piece is created with care, patience, and attention to detail, allowing the medium to flow naturally and preserve its unique character.
All original paintings are created on high-quality watercolor paper with a minimum weight of 300 g/m², chosen for its durability, texture, and ability to hold delicate layers of watercolor over time.
In addition to original paintings, I am currently preparing a collection of hand-painted watercolor bookmarks, created on 100% cotton, hard paper. Each bookmark is an individual miniature artwork, painted with the same care and materials as my larger pieces.
Paintings smaller than A4 (8.27 × 11.69 inches) format are shipped flat, carefully protected in plastic wrap and placed in waterproof envelopes to ensure safe delivery.
Paintings in larger formats are gently rolled and shipped in specialized painting shipping boxes to protect the artwork during transport.
All artworks are shipped unframed, allowing you the freedom to choose a frame that best fits your space and personal style.
