I am a student at Pitzer College majoring in Psychology. My research interests include understanding psychological disorders, their impact on the immigrant experience, and their role among second-generation immigrants. I am also interested in how immigrant communities communicate mental health challenges and how EEG in the RAD Lab can help explore neural processes underlying these experiences.
In my free time, I enjoy analyzing how video games engage our senses and tell compelling stories, creating immersive and meaningful experiences.
I am a student at Pitzer pursuing a dual major in Psychology and Organizational Studies. My research interests span a wide range of topics, including the clinical use of psychoactive drugs in the treatment of psychiatric disorders, the psychology behind decision-making, and the factors that drive consumer interest in specific products. I am also particularly passionate about the broader research related to addiction, mental health, and neurodegenerative diseases. Outside the lab, I am a member of the Pomona-Pitzer Women’s Soccer team and enjoy spending time outdoors with my friends.
I am a Pitzer student majoring in Chemistry combined with Human Biology. My research interests are in sports performance and how the minds of athletes operate on fear and adrenaline. I am a varsity Diver for Pomona-Pitzer, which fuels my interest in this topic. Outside of RAD, I love wet labs in Organic Chemistry, like peptide synthesis and IR spectroscopy. My hobbies include painting, going on walks, and conversations at Oldenborg as the German Language Partner!
I am a student at Scripps College pursuing a major in Neuroscience. I am very interested in research involving neural mechanisms behind information processing, neuroplasticity, and neurodegenerative disease. Post-grad, I am interested in pursuing an MD-PhD. Outside of research, I love all things outdoorsy, like running, hiking, and going to the beach with my friends!
I am a student at Pitzer college studying Science Management on the Biotechnology track. My research interests are currently focused on the impact psychoactive drugs on mood disorders and gaining a deeper understanding of affective neuroscience. In my free time, I love to paint, listen to music and wear funky clothes!
I’m a neuroscience major at Pitzer College with a specialization in neuropharmacology, a minor in Spanish, and a pre-med focus. I’m interested in the neurobiology of neurodevelopmental disorders, with an emphasis on gene expression and molecular pathways underlying autism spectrum disorder. In the lab, I’m excited to use EEG to investigate neural mechanisms of reward processing, emotion, and decision-making, and how these findings can be applied to neurodevelopment. Beyond academics, I enjoy hiking Mount Baldy, exploring new beaches, running, and reading.
