Week Three

a guided learning path

Listening. Learning. Loving.

Welcome to your third week of our journey together.

Throughout the week, consider the interconnectedness among all the things you are reading, watching, hearing, and learning. With an open heart, search for ways you can continue to promote positive change within yourself and in the world around you.

Remember: this is a self paced study, so we invite you to engage with as many of these resources as you'd like. Challenge yourself to find at least three sources this week that are poignant for you.

Keep track of your progress and take time to reflect.

Scripture & Prayer

Micah 6:8

He has told you, O mortal, what is good;
and what does the Lord require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness,
and to walk humbly with your God?

Reflect

In order to walk humbly with God, we must walk where Christ walked. Where did Jesus’s feet take him? Where did he spend his time? Who was willing to walk with him up to the empire’s lynching tree?

Prayer

Grant, O God,
that your holy and life-giving Spirit
may so move every human heart,
that the barriers which divide us may crumble,
suspicions disappear, and hatreds cease,
and that, with our divisions healed,
we might live in justice and peace;
through your Son, Jesus Christ out Lord. Amen.
