But I needed a separate way to heal individual players without worrying about fumbling with alt/shift/ctrl keys, etc. I found the Healium setup to be straight forward and did not interfere with my abilities. I used the healium group/raid setup in place of the Bliz one because I was able to place them where ever I wanted them on my screen which made it very easy to use.

Works wonderfully in Classic on my new priest. Most players, as stated above, tend to find and get used to a specific software addon and stick with it. I tried several of those other addons and kept coming back to Healium because it fit my playstyle and needs better. So it is definitely personal preference.

Edit: One of the reasons I stuck with Healbot for so long is you just click your left/right and middle wheel on your mouse and you have your major spells that are programmed to those, and you can just click your mouse buttons for other spells (I use an old Naga Razer Mouse). But like I said it seems to be having issues lately, and I am just ready to look at other heal addons.

For addons, I mostly just use Decursive, Details and DBM. Decursive makes dispelling magic debuffs so much easier. The usefulness of Decursive also depends if you are using other UI addons. I think ones like HealBot already has the Decursive function. The UI is still default for me.

Thanks for the response! i also have an mmo mouse and man has that been a huge change as well. I think I now understand mouseover healing. It sounds like it would be better to use in raids than healium.

Healium is astonishingly lightweight for what it offers. It is the smallest of all the tested addons in this review, while offering some unique features others do not.
