This Privacy Policy explains how Rachna AI ("Rachna," "the App," "we," "us," or "our"), provided by Rachna AI Studio / Rahul Kumar, accesses, uses, stores, and shares information.
By using Rachna AI, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Rachna AI processes messages, instructions, and other content you submit through the App. Conversations are stored locally on your device to provide chat history.
When you send a message, relevant conversation content is transmitted directly from your device to the AI provider you have selected.
If you voluntarily enable Rachna AI's Accessibility Service, the App may access information displayed on your screen, including:
Visible text
Buttons, input fields, and other interface elements
App interface structure
The currently displayed application or screen
Element locations needed to perform an action
This information is accessed only to understand the current screen and perform actions you request, such as tapping an element, entering text, scrolling, navigating back, or opening an application.
Relevant screen information may be included in requests sent to your selected AI provider so that the provider can interpret the screen and determine how to complete your request.
Rachna AI does not use Accessibility Service data for advertising, surveillance, or selling user data.
The Accessibility Service does not operate until you explicitly enable it in Android Settings. You may disable it at any time.
If you use voice input, Rachna AI requests microphone access and sends your audio to the speech-recognition service available on your Android device.
Depending on your device configuration, this service may be provided by Google or another speech-recognition provider.
Rachna AI receives the resulting text and uses it as your message. The App does not intentionally store raw microphone recordings.
When needed to answer a request or troubleshoot device-specific behavior, Rachna AI may process limited device information, such as:
Device manufacturer
Device model
Android version
Battery state
Similar technical information required for functionality
Rachna AI allows you to connect your own AI-provider account.
API keys are stored locally using Android encrypted storage.
Your API key is transmitted only to the provider or compatible endpoint you configure, where it is used to authenticate requests. Rachna AI does not operate an intermediary server that receives or stores your API key.
The App stores preferences such as:
Selected AI provider
Selected model
Custom API endpoint
Theme
Voice settings
Permission choices
Rachna AI profile settings
These preferences are stored locally on your device.
Information is used to:
Generate responses to your messages
Maintain conversation history
Process voice input
Read visible screen content when requested
Perform user-requested device actions
Authenticate requests with your selected AI provider
Save App preferences
Maintain security, functionality, and reliability
We do not use your information for targeted advertising and do not sell or rent your personal information.

Anthropic
OpenAI
OpenAI-compatible services
A custom API endpoint configured by you
Information sent may include your messages, relevant conversation history, instructions, tool results, visible screen information, and limited device information required to complete your request.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

If you configure another compatible service or custom API endpoint, you are responsible for reviewing that provider's privacy and security practices.
Voice input may also be processed by your device's speech-recognition provider.
Android device backups may be handled by Google or your device manufacturer, depending on your device settings.
Chat history and App preferences are stored locally on your device.
API credentials are stored using Android's encrypted preferences and device-backed security facilities where available.
Network requests use encrypted HTTPS connections.
Custom AI endpoints must support secure HTTPS connections.
No security method is completely reliable. You should avoid sharing highly sensitive information unless necessary and ensure that you trust your selected AI provider.
Chat history remains on your device until you:
Delete an individual conversation
Select the option to delete all conversations
Clear the App's storage
Uninstall the App
You can remove or replace saved API keys through the App's settings or by clearing the App's storage.
Some information may remain in Android device backups according to your device and backup settings.
Information already transmitted to an AI or speech-recognition provider is governed by that provider's retention and deletion practices.
Rachna AI currently does not require a user account. Therefore, there is no separate server-side Rachna AI account to delete.
Rachna AI may request the following permissions:
Used to communicate with AI providers and other required online services.
Used to convert voice input into text when you choose to use voice input.
Used to read visible interface elements and perform actions that you explicitly request.
Used to provide the floating Rachna AI chat bubble.
Used to display the foreground-service notification required for the floating chat bubble.
Used to keep the floating chat bubble available while the App is running in the background.
Permissions can be denied or revoked through Android Settings. Some features will not work without their corresponding permissions.
Rachna AI is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required in their jurisdiction.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us using the details provided below.
Your selected AI or speech-recognition provider may process information in countries other than your own.
Their handling of that information is governed by their respective privacy policies and applicable laws.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App's features, providers, or legal requirements change.
The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
