Hello, I would hope by now you’ve read that my name is Rachelle Durandisse—if you haven’t, I’ve clearly not done my job correctly. I’m currently an Operations Area Manager at Amazon, and I’m passionate about people development, leadership, and driving operational excellence.
I grew up in Haiti and moved to the United States after the 2010 earthquake. Adjusting to a new country and language wasn’t easy—I struggled academically and socially in elementary school—but I’ve always been a quick learner and adaptive problem solver. That determination helped me transition into honors and AP courses, where I discovered a love for leadership. From club officer roles to teaching assistant and tutoring positions, I found myself naturally drawn to helping others grow while challenging myself to lead.
Today, I bring that same energy to my role at Amazon—building strong teams, fostering growth, and making operations not just effective, but meaningful. My ultimate goal is to continue growing as a leader, driving operational success while empowering others to reach their full potential. I’m passionate about fostering growth in others and, in turn, growing alongside them.
