I have been an educator in various forms since 2015. I am passionate about helping children to learn and grow in the manner that is best suited to them.
I graduated from the Masters of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy program at Boston College in May 2023.
I aspire to work in educational policy and effect small or large scale educational change.
"Leadership must be critically educative; it can not only look at the conditions in which we live, but it must also decide how to change them." - Dantley and Tillman, 2006
Leaders' defining skill is that they are able to see the whole picture and how smaller pieces fit into or contribute to the larger goal. Educational leaders also act as liaisons between different parties in education: parents and students; policymakers and schools; etc.
As an educator with a small leadership role, I take initiative to ensure my classroom is safe and developmentally engaging for my children. I am proactive in frequently and thoroughly communicating with parents, co-teachers, and administration. I believe that education can be personalized at any level to each students' background and ability level, and that all children deserve access to high-quality education that works with their families and communities to ensure their personal success.
