About Me
Originally from Moorhead, Minnesota, I now live in the Twin Cities area and have been playing the violin for 30+ years. I have performed for wedding, church services, and funerals since I was a teenager. I have been a member of the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony (as a high school student), the MN All-State Orchestra, the St. Olaf Orchestra (as a college student), and many community orchestras and string quartets around the Twin Cities.
My favorite violin piece of all-time to play is Meditation by Thaïs, but my favorite composers are Beethoven and Dvořák. I am a big Beatles fan and can play just about any of their songs on the violin!
The most interesting song I have been asked to play at a wedding was "Sweet Child of Mine" by Guns 'n' Roses for a bride's processional!
**I was rated a "top performer" on Gigsalad in 2023! Check out my Gigsalad page here!**

I can perform solo or with other instrumentalists/vocalists of your choosing.
I offer a free consultation in person or via phone/Skype so you can hear me play and I can help you pick out music for your special event.
Why live music?
Live instrumental music provides a special touch to any special occasion, from weddings to funerals, from church services to corporate events. A live violinist is always more memorable then pre-recorded music played by a DJ or laptop - and is probably more affordable than you think!
Now more than ever it is important to support our local Twin Cities musicians!
