Hi, I’m Rachel Kuznetsov, a Master of Science in Business Analytics Candidate on the Advanced Data Analytics Track and in the process of attaining a Project Management Certificate at Isenberg School of Management, UMass Amherst. I also have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, with two minors - in Business from the Isenberg School of Management and in Music from the College of Humanities & Fine Arts.
My passion runs deep for turning complex data into actionable business insights, and I bring a unique blend of analytical rigor, creative problem-solving, and strategic thinking to every project I tackle. From predicting Airbnb pricing using machine learning to visualizing vehicle sales trends in Tableau, I have applied my skills across industries and platforms. My toolbox includes Python, R, SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, and Alteryx - along with hands-on experience in supervised/unsupervised learning, data cleaning, project management (Agile/Scrum), and data storytelling.
Whether optimizing loan approvals, identifying fraudulent insurance claims, or using natural language processing on Airbnb listings reviews, I love uncovering patterns that drive smarter decisions. Beyond the data, I am a strong communicator, leader, and lifelong learner - always eager to collaborate, innovate, and grow.
In my previous internship experiences, I expanded my horizons as a retail management intern at CVS, a wedding planning assistant, a camp communications and social media assistant, and a student leadership board president and communications coordinator.
As a driven, dedicated, and enthusiastic person, I am dedicated to continuous learning, always striving to be a learn-it-all, not a know-it-all. My experiences, along with my attention to detail, analytical mindset, adaptability, ability to work on cross-functional teams, and passion for leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making, make me well-equipped to take on any challenges.
Outside of work and academics, I love music, board games, card games, bubble tea, and chocolate!
Looking forward to connecting and exploring opportunities to collaborate, innovate, and achieve new heights!
