Playing games that teach kids math might encourage them to try and want to learn and play the game.
Kids are excited to play games that have math in them. This makes them want to learn and get better at it.
Games that can be used in grades 1-6th are Yahtzee, battleship, Uno, and Dominoes
Battleship game will teach them how to use graph paper, Uno teaches them the numbers and could be used for adding and subtracting, and Yahtzee teaches them pairs of numbers.
How I plan to further my knowledge:
I will use this to keep them entertained, if i was helping another student with a question. As well as giving them freedom so they can learn to get better with their numbers and colors.
Some people believe students should have to work and pay for their own college and others argue that parents should support their students and pay for their school.
Different views on how much parents should contribute to their kids in college, parents paying for all of it, students splitting it with parents, and students paying for it themselves.
If you're smart and have common sense with money your child should be able to attend college.
If you have the opportunity to take AP classes or Dual enrollment while in High school do it and you won't have to take them in college.
After reading this it makes me want to look at how much my parents help me with paying for college and how they support me during this time of my life, it makes me realize and i want to tell how much i appreciate it.
Facebook is a social networking site where users can communicate with friends, family, and coworkers.
Facebook is for sharing with family and friends to see what's going on in other people's lives, a great use for college students that are away from their family and friends.
We can use this like we can use Twitter they both are very similar in ways.
We could use it to post school updates that parents and students need to know.
I will use this to connect with my student's parents so it is a watched page.
All students need your attention, however some students need it more than others. When students see you care then they will care.
Successes and failures and how we can overcome them, we want better for our students and how can we do that?
If teachers focus on single students it prevents them from helping others learn and giving them the attention they need
Having supported parents and families around kids that will help them with their school work helps kids be more successful
There are a lot of things to still be looked at and found out but when I am a teacher I will be very involved with each one of my students, and give them all of my attention. I want my kids to know that I want to see them be successful.
Giving teachers fresh material to work with will provide them and the students with something new to work on can increase the interest level in learning.
