Following the success of the first 'Race' and Socially Engaged Research Conference in 2023, the conference organisers decided to launch an annual 'Working Paper' where conference delegates could publish their work. The first working paper was published in 2024 - Volume 1 - and features a series of articles, a poem and an infographic, each linked in some way to the inaugural conference theme ‘Disrupting Structural Racism and Building Communities of Dissent Through Transformative Research’.
