RERO Outreach Campaign ~RAC2021~

Introduction:

In support of MDEC #mydigitalmaker movement and MOE’s initiatives to transform Malaysian youth from digital users to producers in the digital economy, Cytron Technologies - rero EDUteam will continue with our initiatives to bring robotics and coding to the masses. We will continue to run rero Annual Championship (RAC2021) as a platform for primary/secondary school students to participate in robotics and coding competitions.

Aims and Objectives:

The overall aim of this program is to enhance interest in STEM education by introducing robotics and coding to students. Our objectives are as follows:-

1. To introduce robotics and coding to more students.

2. To train teachers and student leaders to be certified instructors/facilitators.

3. To provide students with access to robotics kit and education.

4. To provide opportunities for more students to participate in robotics and coding competitions.

1) Who can join? Can my school join if we have no experience in robotics and coding?

RAC2021 is open to ALL primary and secondary school students . No limit on the number of participants per school.

• Primary Category (7-12 years old)

• Secondary/Open Category (18 years old and below)

RERO platform is beginner friendly and we provide training and resources to help teachers/students get started on this exciting journey. Our vision is to bring robotics and coding to the masses by making quality robotics and coding education and kits available, affordable and attainable for all children regardless of their background.

2) How to register for this program?

3) How much is the registration fee?

RERO Educators Conference - FREE Registration

State Level Competition - FREE Registration

National Level Competition - RM120 per team (waived for 2021)
