Raavi Aggarwal

Hello! I am a climate economist working on development and climate policy for emerging economies. I work on designing optimal carbon prices in the Indian context and evaluating the impacts of a potential carbon price on consumer demand and industrial performance across sectors in India. I have also conducted cost-benefit analysis on implementing a carbon price in the contexts of Sub-Saharan Africa, South-east Asia, and Central America.

I am a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Indian Statistical Institute, Delhi, within the environment research centre, CECFEE and a PhD candidate in Economics at the Technical University, Berlin. I am a Research fellow at the World Inequality Lab, Paris School of Economics.
