Our breeding facility is located in Montello, Wisconsin. We are a family run business, efficiently utilizing tools and resources allows us to keep costs low.

Unlike some of our competitors; each rat is checked for quality by the owners. We produce all our rodent and rabbit feeders in our facility and never sell a feeder we wouldn't feed our own pets. All of our animals are euthanized humanely and we strictly follow University of Wisconsin - Madison's guidelines on rodent housing requirements. We feed a nutritionally complete food that is selected for our animals health and longevity, in addition to feeding fresh produce and treats.

R5 started as a hobby to offset the cost of keeping our snake. Local rat suppliers wanted an arm and a leg. At the time we only had one snake, and couldn't justify spending $30 just to ship a bulk amount for him. Our reptile collection is growing everyday, along with our frozen feeder inventory!
