QUOST is a workshop that born with the aim to contact chilean communities working in Quantum Optics and Solid State Physics. The first workshop, QUOST I, took place at the Universidad Católica del Norte, Antofagasta 5-6 November 2009. Subsequently versions took place at the Campus Curauma Pontificia Universidad Católica of Valparaiso 14- 15 October 2010 (QUOST II), Termas del Corazón Los Andes Chile 24-25-26 May 2012 (QUOST III), Termas del Corazón Los Andes Chile 27-28-29 October 2013 (QUOST IV), Coyhaique Chile November 30th - December 1st 2017 (QUOST V), and Pucón Chile November 25th - 26th 2019 (QUOST VI). The workshop has been organized with the support of CEDENNA, and individual Fondecyt grants.
