MN Softech ("we," "us," "our") operates Quivora (the "App"), a quiz and trivia game for Android. This policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It applies to users in all markets where Quivora is offered, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Spain, Portugal/Brazil, Germany, and France.
By installing or using Quivora, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Quivora does not require or offer account creation or sign-in. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise (GPS) location, contacts, photos, or any similar personal profile information. There is no chat, messaging, or social feature.
Your quiz history, answers, session scores, bookmarks, achievements, streaks, and app settings (language, theme, sound, timer, reminder time) are stored locally on your device in the App's local database. This data is never uploaded to us or to any server we control. Uninstalling the App or clearing its storage in Android Settings permanently deletes this data, and we have no copy of it.
Quivora uses the following third-party services, each of which may automatically collect limited technical data from your device to provide their function:
Firebase Analytics (Google). Collects app usage events (e.g., screens viewed, quiz modes played, session length), general device information (model, OS version, language), and an app instance identifier. Used to understand feature usage in aggregate; not used to build a profile tied to your name or contact details.
Firebase Crashlytics (Google). Collects crash and error logs, device model, OS version, and app version when the App crashes or encounters an error, so we can diagnose and fix bugs.
Firebase Remote Config (Google). Fetches configuration values (e.g., ad frequency settings) at app launch. This involves a network request identifying your app instance and general device/locale info, but no quiz content or personal data.
Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK). Displays banner, interstitial, rewarded, and app-open ads. AdMob may collect your advertising ID, IP address (used to derive approximate/coarse location such as country or city), device information, and ad interaction data, to serve and measure ads. See Section 5 for details on ad personalization and your choices.
These services are provided by Google. Data they collect is processed under Google's own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. Google's use of advertising data is further described at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
We use the information described in Section 3 to: operate and improve the App, diagnose and fix crashes, understand which features are used so we can prioritize development, and display and measure advertising. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the data described above to identify you personally.
Quivora is ad-supported through Google AdMob. Depending on your region and consent choices, ads may be personalized (based on your advertising ID and ad interaction history) or non-personalized (based on limited contextual signals only).
For users in the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland, Quivora uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present a consent form before showing personalized ads, in line with GDPR and applicable ePrivacy requirements. You can change your consent choice at any time from the App's Settings screen.
Ads never appear during active gameplay (question screens) or on the results screen. Rewarded ads are always opt-in — the App will ask you to watch an ad for a reward (e.g., a hint or bonus points); it will never prompt or incentivize you to click an ad.
Your choices:
Limit ad personalization: Android Settings → Google → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization" (or reset your advertising ID from the same screen).
EEA/UK/Switzerland users: adjust your consent choice from the App's Settings screen at any time.
General opt-outs for interest-based advertising: https://optout.aboutads.info and https://optout.networkadvertising.org.
We do not sell your personal information. We share the limited technical data described in Section 3 only with the service providers named above (Google, for Firebase and AdMob), who process it as our service providers or, in the case of ad personalization, as independent controllers under their own privacy policies. We do not share data with any other third party.
Local quiz data (Section 2) remains on your device until you delete the App or clear its data — we never receive it. Analytics and crash data (Section 3) is retained by Google/Firebase according to their standard retention periods, which you can review at https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy. Advertising data collected by AdMob is retained per Google's ad data retention policies.
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or port certain data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent (e.g., to ad personalization) at any time. Because we do not hold an account or server-side profile tied to you, most of your quiz data is already under your direct control on your device (Section 2). For data processed by Google (Analytics, Crashlytics, AdMob), you can exercise rights directly with Google at https://myaccount.google.com/privacy, or contact us using the details in Section 12 and we will assist where we are able.
You have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Ad personalization through AdMob may be considered "sharing" under these laws; you can opt out using the ad settings described in Section 5. We do not sell personal information for money.
You can reset or opt out of your advertising identifier, disable ad personalization, turn off notifications in Android Settings, and delete all locally stored App data at any time by clearing the App's storage or uninstalling it.
Quivora is a general-audience trivia app and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us using the details in Section 12 and we will address it.
We rely on Google/Firebase's industry-standard security practices for the limited data described in Section 3. Data stored locally on your device (Section 2) is protected by your device's own security (screen lock, encryption, etc.). No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Because Quivora uses Google/Firebase and AdMob, technical data described in Section 3 may be processed on servers located outside your country, including in the United States, under Google's standard contractual safeguards for international transfers.

We may update this policy as the App evolves (for example, if we add new features or third-party services). We will update the "Effective date" above when changes are made. Material changes will be reflected in the App's Play Store listing or in-app notice where required by law.
