Quite the Bite was started by 11-year-old Savanna in response to overwhelming demand for her delicious dog treats. She first made them when her Junior Girl Scout troop was working on their Bronze Award and chose to support Sweet Paws Rescue. When local dogs loved her first batch of treats, she wanted to keep supporting Sweet Paws and other animal rescues and charities. Since she loves baking and hopes to open her own human bakery one day, she thought a dog treat bakery would be a great start! She started with one original flavor (peanut butter carrot biscuit) but is always trying something new! All proceeds go to local charities.
Savanna loves to bake but when she's not in the kitchen, you can find her dancing, cheering, at girl scouts, church, reading, or hanging out with her friends.
Baylee joined the Quite the Bite Family in 2024 and tests every batch to ensure quality and taste! Baylee like most treats but definitely loves chicken so the Baylee flavored treat is our regular recipe with added chicken flavor.
Sasha passed away in 2023 at 15. When QTB started, Sasha tested every batch to ensure quality and taste! The original treat (peanut butter & carrot) is named after Sasha because she was the original dog of Savanna's family!
Sandy passed away in 2018 but as one of Savanna's first pets (along with Sasha), Sandy will always be part of the Quite the Bite family! Sandy ate just about anything. Trash, dirty laundry, table scraps, tissues, you name it, she ate it! We know that she would have eaten any of the Quite the Bite treats without discriminating but she was a big fan of bacon which is why we named the Sandy (bacon) after her!
Andy lives a few blocks away from Quite the Bite headquarters (just a few houses away from Maisy!) and was part of the QTB family bubble during COVID. Andy was one of the first dogs to try out our Quite the Bite treats. In a blind taste test, he chose the cheese and bacon flavor as his favorite which is why that one is named after him!
Maisy lives a few blocks away from Quite the Bite headquarters (right near Andy!) and was one of the first dogs to try out our newest flavors. In a blind taste test, she chose the cheese flavor as her favorite which is why that one is named after her!
Matilda lives near Quite the Bite headquarters and because her human has a nut allergy, she inspired us to make sure that everyone can enjoy our delicious treats without the fear of being licked by an allergen!
