Your privacy is important to us. QuitCaff is designed to be simple, offline-first, and privacy-friendly. The majority of data created or accessed by the App remains on your device and under your control.
QuitCaff does not collect, store, or process personal information such as:

You can use the App completely anonymously.
With your explicit permission, QuitCaff may access sleep data from Apple HealthKit.
This data is used solely to help users understand how reducing caffeine intake may relate to their sleep patterns.

If you delete the App, reset your device, or clear app storage, your data will be permanently lost.
The App uses a third-party error monitoring service, Sentry, to collect technical crash reports and diagnostics when the App encounters errors.
This may include limited technical information such as:
Device model
Operating system version
App version
Error messages and stack traces
Date and time of the crash
This information is used solely to identify, diagnose, and fix technical issues to improve app stability and performance.
No personally identifiable information is intentionally collected through this process.
HealthKit data is never included in crash reports.
While the App functions offline and stores user-generated data locally on your device, technical crash diagnostics may be securely transmitted to our error monitoring provider when an error occurs.
This transmission is limited strictly to diagnostic purposes and does not include:
Personal user content
Challenge data
Habit tracking data
HealthKit data
The App does not use:

Because the App does not include web browsing, advertising, or behavioral analytics, no tracking technologies are implemented.

Sentry — Error monitoring and crash reporting

QuitCaff is a self-improvement and habit-tracking tool intended for motivational and informational purposes only.
The App may display insights based on caffeine habits and sleep data retrieved from Apple HealthKit.

QuitCaff does not provide medical advice
The App does not diagnose or treat medical conditions
The App does not analyze health data for medical purposes
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant health or lifestyle changes.
Because we do not collect personal information, the App is suitable for general audiences.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction).

All app data exists solely on your device.
If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data is permanently removed.
HealthKit permissions can be managed or revoked at any time through the Apple Health app.
Because all user data is stored locally on your device:
Security is managed by your device’s operating system
We do not transmit or store your personal data externally
We cannot access or recover your data
We recommend using device passcodes, biometric locks, and backups where available.
