Parents and Athletes:  Welcome the the Quinn Middle School (QMS) Track & Field page.  This is THE PLACE to find great information about the 2024 program including practices, work-outs, meets and more.  Check back frequently as this site will be updated with schedules, events, other useful information.

NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS

• 5/6/2024  Early practice (10:30-12) on Wednesday due to Early Dismissal.  MEET DAY Thursday May 9 at HHS starting ~4pm (See Track Notes for details).  Bus from QMS to HHS will be provided; athletes must be picked up from HHS at the conclusion of the meet (~6pm).

• 5/1/2024  QUINN TRACK SPIRIT WEAR deadline has been extended to Saturday May 4. https://quinntrack2024.itemorder.com/shop/sale/

Please order ASAP !!  The store will close on May 4 so that gear can be made up and delivered in time for the mid-May meets.

We got a late start on this, so we are hoping to get ALL ORDERS IN BY WEDNESDAY MAY 1 so that we get delivery on or around the date of our first meet.  Please order ASAP !!

• 4/25/2024 Dual Meet schedule is finalized:

      • May 17 v. Parker

      • May 20 v. AMSA

      • May 23 v. St. Bernadette's

      • May 28 v. Hale

All meets will be hosted by Hudson at the Hudson High School track (Morgan Bowl).  Start times will be approximately 4:00pm.  

• 4/11/2024  April Vacation practices will be held at the Hudson High School (HHS) track.

  • Monday April 15 2:30-4:00pm

  • Wednesday April 17 2:30-4:00pm

  • Thursday April 18 10:00am-12:00noon

• 4/8/2024  There will be NO PRACTICE on Monday April 8.  We will have practice Tuesday April 9 (2:30-3:30pm), Wednesday April 10 (10:45-12:30pm), and Thursday April (2:30-4:00pm)

• 3/28/2024 There will be NO PRACTICE on Monday April 8 in accordance with the MIAA guidance on the solar eclipse.

• 3/27/2024 Practice on Thursday March 28 is OPTIONAL due to the weather.  We will likely be indoors (with limited space), but could be outside if weather permits.  Please plan accordingly.

• (3/18/2024) Practice on Wednesday March 20 will end at 3:30pm for all athletes.  Late bus passes will be available for all; or plan pick-up accordingly.

• (3/4/2024) FIRST DAY OF PRACTICE:  MONDAY March 18, 2024.  Practice will begin right after school (2:30pm).  Practice will be held Monday, Wednesday and Thursday weekly.  Students needing the Late Bus/early pick-up will be dismissed at 3:25pm.  Practice will continue until 4:00pm for all others.  Bring water!  Watch the weather and dress to be outdoors most days!

• (3/1/2024) Pre-Season Meeting for interested students on 3/4/2023 afterschool.  Permission Slips are available in the QMS office for anyone needing one.  Please return completed slips to the office or to practice the first day.
