My name is Quinn Reep and my group partner's name is Mckenzie James; and our group has chosen Healthcare inequality and Sex trafficking as our topics of research for our English 1102 class. In order to tie these two topics together to fit under an umbrella topic, we plan on also researching how healthcare inequality has affected the rates of sex crimes, including sex trafficking, and vice versa. In this session, I talk about a general, very fast pace lesson on the history of healthcare, from its first uses to today's. With this, I then transiton into an explaination portion of the recording, where I explain our current situation in terms of healthcare, and then explain why our race is where we are.
To finalize, I ask the listeners a question and a prompt. I tell them to, "think about your own ways on how the world can go about fixing itself," along with, "what will come of this newfound reformation of healthcare? What new can we as a race do now that we don't have to worry about the effects getting sick?"
