With a recent update of Waze/Android Auto (not sure if it one of these or both of these together), I am unable to find the nearest parking when searching for a location. Previously, whenever a destination was chosen, Waze on Android Auto gave a list of nearest parking, if I wanted to choose. This is no longer available. Any ideas?

You can view all your transaction by logging onto your account at paybyphone.com. All parking charges can be printed off in the form of a receipt. Email receipts are available; select this optional feature on your profile.

You do not need to display a receipt on your vehicle or use a parking machine in addition to using the app. You may park in any general parking space in the area you select on the app. You may also use the app to pay for disabled parking, but must display a valid disability parking placard from either the UW or the state.

Grass Parking: During university events, grass areas may be designated as parking spaces to accommodate the increased demand for parking. These areas will be clearly marked and communicated prior to the event. Vehicles are allowed to park only on the designated grass spaces and must not obstruct pathways or impede the flow of traffic.

Select Curbside Parking: In addition to grass parking, certain curbside areas may be designated for event parking. Spaces will be clearly marked with signage indicating their availability for event parking. Vehicles parked in these areas must comply with all parking regulations and not block driveways, fire hydrants, and restricted areas.

QR Sign and Zone: To initiate a paid parking session during a university event, attendees must locate the nearest QR sign and zone. These signs will be strategically placed throughout the event area and will contain a unique QR code for initiating the payment process. Or, you can choose to download the mobile app.

Payment Process: You can use your mobile device to scan the QR code displayed on the sign. This will direct you to the designated payment platform where you can select the appropriate parking session duration and make the payment using the available payment options. Once the payment is processed, the parking session will be activated.

When classes are in session, on-campus visitor parking can be difficult to find during peak periods, which are generally Mondays through Thursdays, between 8:30 am and 2:00 pm. To avoid traffic/parking delay and environmental impact, please consider hosting your event on Fridays, Weekends, or Summer.

Depending on the needs of your event, parking traffic officers, parking attendants, mobile parking booth, or wayfinding signage , reserved parking may be required. Services of this nature are provided at an additional expense.

The ParkMobile web app offers a guest checkout option where you can pay for parking without creating an account. We recommend creating an account versus guest checkout because it will be easier to pay the next time you use the app. Nevertheless, we understand that some people prefer guest checkout and want to accomodate those users.

To make a parking payment in the Google Pay app, enter the parking zone number, add time and finish the payment with any credit or debit card saved to your Google Pay account. If it is your first time using the Google Pay to park, you will need to enter your car's license plate number.

When using driving navigation in Google Maps, you will see a "pay for parking" button in areas where ParkMobile is available. When you tap that button, it will take you to Google Pay, where you can make a ParkMobile payment.

The pre-paid parking meter card program has been discontinued as the current smart card chip technology is no longer supported or available from a manufacturer.
