The App, Quiet Exceptional, this App: Refers to the Software application named Quiet Exceptional built for Android Operating System distributed via the platforms listed in this policy.
The Developer: Refers to the Individual named Akilesh Sivakumar who has developed this Software and manages it.
The Device: Refers to a physical/ Virtual Device running on an Android based Operating System, and in which this app is installed.

The app reads incoming Notifications to determine if a call was missed or to detect if an Alarm Message has been received.

Data collected by the app is stored in the internal memory of the device (As decided by the operating System). The Data is Accessed by the app using a Key-string defined by the developer (This functionality is provided by the operating system).
The collected data can be deleted via App Settings provided by the device.
Data collected are stored within the device for as long as it is required for the app functionality. These can be deleted by the user via app settings.
The Data used or created by the features of this App is only used within the App. Data Transfer outside the App or device is only possible if initiated by the user. These include: Sharing feedback to the developer via email, sharing a link to the app to other users, Opening a Link to the app on the App Market. Other than those mentioned above, no Data is shared with other Apps, Services, person or organization.
The App generates information based on Notifications, if permissions are provided.Only Information regarding Missed Calls and messages containing the Alarm Text are processed.

App collects data using the “Log-Cat” System, when the app finds itself in an error state or when the user requests for logs. These data contains only Error Logs and Debug Messages which were written by the app. These do not contain any personal and sensitive information.
These data are used to debug and fix problems if reported by the user and are shared to the developer only when initiated by the user. Sharing takes place via email or any other means suggested by the developer.
The app is a stand-alone app and does not interact with any other apps for its functionality.
Installation of the app takes place via the platform “Google Play Services”.
