Quiet Exceptional requires the provision of the following permissions to fulfill its functionalities.
NOTIFICATION ACCESS: ´The app reads incoming Notifications to determine if a call was missed. To detect missed calls, Quiet exceptional reads Notification generated immediately after an incoming call has ended.The app can toggle the Do Not disturb state if required to ring the device after missed calls.
The app also reads Notifications to detect if it contains the text: "Quiet Exceptional Alarm". On detecting this, the app rings the device.
PHONE STATE: This Permission is needed to detect incoming calls.
CONTACTS: The Feature Quiet Exceptional Alarm works only if the message was received by contacts added by the user.
PUBLISH NOTIFICATIONS: This permission is needed to post Notifications on receiving Quiet Exceptional Alarms. Dismissing this Notifications stops the device from ringing.
Battery Optimization: Some Android Operating systems, reduce the priority of tasks when the app is not actively in use. To ensure the timers in the app run reliably, this permission is required. This ensures the Android system executes timed tasks at the right time.
