AlphaShift (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your information when you use our app Quick File Transfer.
Device Name: When you customize your device name using the “Edit Profile” feature, it is stored only on your device and used solely for display during transfers. We do not share this data with any third party.
File Transfer Data: Quick File Transfer creates a local Wi-Fi or hotspot connection for transferring files between devices or between your phone and a PC.
All connections are local (peer-to-peer) — no files, IP addresses, or transfer data are sent to any remote server or cloud service.
APK File Sharing: You may share APK files stored on your device. These are selected and shared manually by you. We do not collect, store or upload APKs.
App Usage Data: We collect non-personal analytics and crash reports (such as errors, performance and usage trends) through trusted third-party services to improve app stability and performance.
Storage Access: The app requests MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission only to allow browsing, selecting, and sharing files within your device. We do not access, modify or upload files without your action.

All transfers and data are processed locally on your device.
We do not store or transmit any user data, files or IP addresses to our servers.

Edit or remove your device name anytime in the app.
