About the Teacher

My name is Waseem and I teach Mathematics and Additional Mathematics. Math is like a hobby to me and I enjoy every opportunity given to share my knowledge with others. I see Math as a way of thinking which can be applied to all aspects of our lives; in analyzing situations and making decisions.

One of my favourite things about teaching Math is breaking down concepts in an easy and relatable manner for students to understand. This is done through continuous learning, using my tutoring experiences and implementing new strategies gained from personal study and research.

I love doing Math because it requires very little memorization and more understanding and critical thinking. In almost every topic in Math, there are shortcuts and multiple approaches to a problem which I take pride in exposing my students to so that they are well equipped, fully prepared and confident to answer any question that may appear on the exam paper.
