QuickGallery — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 August 2026
QuickGallery ("the app") is a photo gallery developed by Daniel Wolniewicz. Your privacy matters and the app is built to keep your data on your own device.
1. No Data Collection
QuickGallery does not collect, store, transmit or share any personal data. The app works entirely offline on your device. We have no servers and never receive your photos, videos or personal information.
2. Photos and Media Access
The app accesses the photos and videos on your device only to display and organise them within the gallery. Your media is never uploaded, copied or sent anywhere outside your device.
3. Private Vault, PIN and App Lock
Any PIN you set and any photos moved to the vault are stored locally on your device only, encrypted. We cannot see, recover or reset your PIN. If you forget it, the only recovery is clearing the app's data in your device settings.
4. Camera (Intruder Selfie)
If you enable the optional intruder selfie feature, the app may use the front camera to capture a photo when an incorrect PIN is entered. These images are stored locally only and are never transmitted.
5. Permissions
Photos / Media: to display and manage your gallery. Camera (optional): only for the intruder selfie feature. Set Wallpaper (optional): only when you choose to set a photo as wallpaper. All permissions are used solely for on-device functionality.
6. Third-Party Services
The current version includes no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking. If a future version introduces ads or in-app purchases, this policy will be updated before those features are released.
7. Children's Privacy
QuickGallery does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
