Forgetting your Quicken login password can be frustrating, but resetting it is quick and secure. Here’s a simple guide to help you get back into your account.
Open Quicken software or visit the Quicken website.
On the login page, look for the “Forgot your password?” link below the Sign In button.
Type in your registered Quicken ID (usually your email address).
Click Send Code to receive a verification code.
Check your email inbox for a 6-digit verification code from Quicken.
Enter the code on the password reset screen.
Enter a new password that meets Quicken’s requirements:
Minimum of 8 characters.
At least one lowercase and one uppercase letter.
At least one number.
Special characters allowed but not required.
Click Change Password.
Return to the login screen.
Enter your Quicken ID and new password.
You’re now ready to access your Quicken account again.
If you use Quicken on multiple devices, update the password on each one.
Be sure to save your new password securely to avoid future lockouts.
If you’re resetting a data file password (different from Quicken ID), follow the instructions in Quicken’s support center.
