Effective date: 4 November 2026
This privacy policy explains how the QuickPanel Android app (package name com.polyhistor.quickpanel, "the app") handles information. The short version: QuickPanel works entirely on your device. It does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data, and it has no internet access.
The app is published by:

Czechner Ince EV is the data controller for the limited processing described in this policy (for example, when you email us).
QuickPanel opens a panel of quick actions when you hold two fingers anywhere on the screen. You can set up a default panel, give individual apps their own panels and choose actions such as Back, Home, screenshot, flashlight, media controls, opening an app or opening a link.
To recognise the two-finger hold on any screen and to perform system actions, QuickPanel uses Android's Accessibility Service API. The service only runs after you turn it on yourself in Android's accessibility settings. Before sending you there, the app shows a disclosure that explains what the service does and asks for your consent. You can turn it off at any time in Settings > Accessibility > QuickPanel.
While the service is on, QuickPanel uses it only for the following purposes:
Touch input. Every touch on the screen briefly passes through QuickPanel so it can tell whether it is a two-finger hold. A two-finger hold opens your panel. Every other touch is passed straight on to the app you are using. Touches are evaluated in memory, as they happen, and immediately discarded. They are never recorded, stored or sent anywhere.
Which app is in front. QuickPanel reads the package name of the app in the foreground, for example com.google.android.gm. It uses this to show that app's own panel, to pause in apps you have excluded, and to pass taps directly in apps on your "Direct taps" list.
Window information. QuickPanel checks which kinds of windows are on screen, for example whether the keyboard is open, so it can pause while you type. It also checks which displays are in use, for example a foldable's cover screen, so touches there keep working normally.
Accessibility focus. Some apps highlight elements with a green outline when an accessibility service is active. QuickPanel removes that highlight. Doing so does not involve reading the element's content.
Performing actions you choose. QuickPanel performs actions such as Back, Home, Recents, notifications, quick settings, split screen, screenshot, lock screen and power menu on your behalf. It may also re-send a tap to the place you touched, so that taps work normally while the gesture is active.
QuickPanel does not use the Accessibility Service to read the text or content of your screen. It does not record what you type, and it does not log your activity or build a profile of how you use your device. Information obtained through the Accessibility Service is never stored off the device, transmitted, sold or shared with anyone.
The app saves your settings in its private storage on your device. Other apps cannot access this storage. The settings include:
your panels and their actions, including the package names of apps you add and any links, labels, icons, folders or routines you create;
the lists of apps you have excluded or added to "Direct taps";
gesture and appearance preferences.
This information never leaves your device through QuickPanel. You can delete it at any time by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.
Android backup: if you have turned on Android's own device backup, Android may include these settings in the backup it makes to your Google account. This backup is created, encrypted and managed by Android and Google under Google's privacy policy, not by us. We have no access to it.
QuickPanel does not include any analytics, advertising, tracking or crash-reporting software. It does not request internet permission, so it cannot send data off your device. It also does not access your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, files, messages or account information.
Accessibility Service: used as described above.
List of installed apps: used to read the names and icons of apps that have a launcher icon, so you can pick them in the app. This list is only shown to you and is not stored or shared.
Vibration: used for the optional haptic tap when the panel opens.
When you use the flashlight action, QuickPanel switches the torch through Android's system torch function. It does not access the camera.
Some actions hand you over to other apps: opening an app, a link, a web search, the camera, the phone dialer or system settings. Once you are in those apps or websites, their own privacy policies apply. QuickPanel only starts them; it does not see what you do there.
If an optional one-time "Pro" purchase is offered, it is processed by Google Play under Google's terms and privacy policy. We never receive your payment details. The app only learns from Google Play whether the purchase is active, to unlock the Pro features.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use this information only to reply to you and to handle your request. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing support, under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. We keep this correspondence only as long as needed for that purpose, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:
access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you;
restrict or object to its processing;
receive it in a portable format.
Because the app itself does not collect personal data, in practice this applies to correspondence you have sent us. To exercise these rights, contact info@anycommand.io.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Hungary, this is the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság, NAIH), Falk Miksa utca 9-11, 1055 Budapest, Hungary, naih.hu. You may also contact the authority in the EU country where you live.
QuickPanel is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
If the way the app handles information changes, for example if a future version needs internet access, we will update this policy and its effective date before that version is released. Significant changes will also be announced in the app's release notes.
