Thank you for using Quick Notepad. This Privacy Policy explains how Quick Notepad ("the extension," "we," "our") handles your information.
Quick Notepad is a browser extension that lets you jot down and save notes directly in your browser. We built it to be simple and private: your notes belong to you, and we do not have access to them.
Quick Notepad does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information.
Notes you create are stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage (chrome.storage). They are never sent to us or to any third party.
No analytics or tracking. We do not use analytics tools, and we do not track how you use the extension.
No account required. Quick Notepad does not require you to sign up, log in, or provide any personal details to use it.
Since all notes are stored locally on your own device, we have no access to their content. Your notes stay on your computer and are not visible to us or any third party.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your information with anyone. We have nothing to share, because we don't collect anything.
Quick Notepad requests only the browser storage permission, which allows it to save your notes locally so they persist between browser sessions. It does not request access to your browsing history, tabs, or any website content.
Your notes remain on your device for as long as the extension is installed. If you uninstall Quick Notepad, your locally stored notes are removed along with it. You can also clear your notes manually at any time from within the extension.
Quick Notepad does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect any information at all.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
